Marine Conservation / Manta Trust Partnership
The Maldives has the world's largest known population of reef manta rays. The Manta Trust is a UK-based independent non-profit organisation; mission: advance conservation of manta rays and their habitat through science, research, raising awareness, and education. Guests can take part in workshops and trips run by Hurawalhi's resident marine biologist. Team shares passion for and knowledge of the marine environment to help conserve coral reefs.

Getting There
- Sea plane transfer: 40 minutes (TMA seaplane)
- Domestic flight transfer: 35 minutes to Madivaru Airport followed by speedboat transfer to resort
- UPON ARRIVAL: After Immigration and Customs, greeted by airport staff, escorted to TMA seaplane ticket counter, transported to TMA Terminal in private vehicle; welcomed with refreshing cold face towel, complimentary beverages, snacks and free WiFi
- Domestic Transfer arrivals: escorted to Domestic Terminal, may remain inside the Moonima Lounge until boarding announced
- UPON DEPARTURE: Hurawalhi Lounge at TMA Seaplane Terminal remains open till late afternoon and early evening; private transfers provided to International Departure Terminal; staff welcome with refreshing cold face towel, complimentary beverage and free WiFi
- Domestic Air Transfer departures: greeted by airport staff and escorted to International Departure Terminal
